The colours used in the masthead is white, bold, and the top centre of the cover. The attracts the audience because the bold white masthead stands out, and it's easy for the audience to know what it is as it's the centre of the cover.
P2: Colour Pallet
The colours in the colour pallet are; grey, yellow, red, and white. These colours attract the audience because the colours make it easier for audience to read as colour coded in colours easy to read
P3: Layout
The layout is simple. This connotes about the music content is that it shows you who/what is in the magazine and it's easily seen. This attracts the target audience because it's the image is big, and in the centre of the cover making it easy to see.

The main image shot type is a portrait of a medium close up of the member of the band. He's wearing black clothing, his facial expression is serious, and the lighting is quite bright. This attracts the audience because the bright lighting makes the image stand out more making the audience to notice what he's wearing and his facial expression more. Therefore, audience may be curious as to why he looks so serious therefore they pick up the magazine. Theres only one minor image on the cove. The image is quiet difficult to see as it's in red lighting but you can tell that it's a also a medium close shot of someone holding a guitar. This minor image attracts the target audience because the colour red is bright attracting the audience.

The teasers used in this magazine cover are "songs that saved his life" this effects the audience because they want to know those songs therefore they read the magazine.
