Pitch for Akhenaten Dar Death

Logline: Yukki is 15 year old male but he’s trapped in a VR game as a female character. The game is called Akhenaten Dar Death, after the ancient Egyptian pharaoh, where he has to complete the game to go into the real world and back to himself as a lot of adventure are on his way…


Target Audience: Females age 12A+ who enjoy love story‘s with a twist, and men who like fantasy with action.

Genre: Fantasy, action, and slice of life

Synopsis: Yukki is a trouble 15 year old boy with depression after his mother’s death. The only for Yukki to ease his pain is to play on video games as he forgets about his problems with school.

A high tech VR game comes out called Akhenaten Dar Death which is made by his hero, Kayaba Akihiko. Yukki purchases the game and as soon get’s home he switches on the game.

Once in the game, Yukki is shock of how well the graphics are and that he looks exactly like his character. He befriends some other characters and after a while they decide to log out to meet in the real world. To their surprise, there is no logout button. Suddenly they both feel dizzy, causing them to passout.

When Yukki wakes up, his head hurts and feels different. His friend looks at him shocked as asks if it’s Yukki. Yukki looks at his friend confused, then realized he’s not himself. He’s female?

All the game characters are together in a stadium-like area and everyone is confused. Suddenly, the ground shakes and the sky starts to turn red. A voice out of nowhere bellows throughout the area causing everyone to stop and stare. The voice claims to me Kayaba Akihiko himself and says to get logged out, you need to complete the game. The game is to defeat big boss, which is stronger than all the characters put together. If you die in the game, you die in the real world and you cannot try and tamper with the VR headset otherwise instant death.

Everyone goes hectic after this, causing people to level up just to survive in the dangerous game which some characters are fairies, some characters have changed genders for some reason, and some people are wizards.

Yukki falls for a player named Aki and decide together, to beat the game.
Yukki defriends a lot of players in order for him to defeat the Big Boss. He goes on a lot of adventures and nearly gets killed by enimies a  few of times.

5 long years of being in the game, Yukki levels up a lot and his crew decide to conquer the Big Boss. Yukki nearly defeats the Boss when the Boss stabs Aki  straight through the heart causing her to die instantly. Yukki is now angry and takes uses all his energy to hurt the Boss but it was too late. Yukki got stabbed straight through the stomach. Yukki is slowly dying but he knows that he can defeat the Boss and avenge Akis death. As Yukki was dying he just had enough strength, and stabbed to boss. They both died but as Yukki was the one who killed the boss he was given life and freed everyone from the game.

Everyone wakes up from their game-state in a hospital bed but the world has completely changed but Yukki doesnt care. He is demanded to find Aki to see if she had really died.

Once he found her room, she was alive but she hadnt woken up from the game. He has to go back into the game and get Aki out

Main Characters PC Ryan Draper - Male, macho, takes control, representing race, dad to a daughter and son. PC Jake Vickers - Not very experienced, 22, gay Chief Robert Vickers, DS Jo Moffat, DI  Felix Kane, Drug Addict - Nathan, Simon Reddington  DS Jo Moffat - single, lonely, loves her dog storylines: episodic and individual/overarching Beach, police station, hospital,  Setting Brighton, beach, pier Overall tone/appeal Serious at times, but sometimes comes across as quite jokey.
