Music Video - BTS - Spring Day
- They are Korean -
The language used in this music video is emotional. This is shown in the following lyrics,"Cherry blossoms are blooming. The winter is ending. I want to see you, I want to see you. If I wait a little longerIf I wait). If I stay up a few more nights. I'll go see you (I'll go see you. I'll go pick you up (I'll go pick you up)." This effects the listener because it's a slow song and you can tell they are putting a lot of feeling into it which makes you feel sad. This is why the language is emotional in the music video.
In this music video they use a range of different camera angles. The first bit 0-50 second they go close up on the members faces to show that they are sad. 51-1:14 it changes to a long/back shot of Kim Nam-joon walking out of the train into a hotel. 1:15-1:22 they have a wide shot of everyone celebrating something. 1:23 they switch to a down angle shot zooming in and out. They zoom in and out slowly creating a sad effect to the audience.
The sound used in this music video soft, slow, and calming. This makes the audience feel relaxed but also a hidden emotion; sadness. Making the sound soft and slow makes it sad because it makes the audience think about what the lyrics mean.
The Muse-en-scene used in this music is bright clothing, but a serious face throughout the video which may confuse the audience. They have light makeup on making it look natural and bright colours that match the weather which is snowing. It's snowing therefore they are wearing warm clothing (colours and thickness of their jumpers).
